Hi again, I’m Evie, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and psychotherapist. I specialize in helping people wade through anxiety, self-doubt, and trauma to discover their authentic, audacious, and aware selves. I provide therapy for adults on an individual basis, offering both in-person services in Southeast Portland and telehealth sessions. At this time, I am not working with couples, families, or minors.

I work with clients from all walks of life, each navigating the unique yet often universal challenges of being human. My own unconventional background—including previous careers as a translator and in the tourism, non-profit, and restaurant industries, as well as an early adulthood spent living and working in Latin America —informs my sensitive, relatable, and creative approach to therapy.

My journey into this field began with a long-standing interest in the effects of adverse childhood experiences and human behavior. This led me to pursue further education in psychology in 2015, and then a master’s degree in social work starting in 2018. Before starting this practice, I worked in community mental health counseling immigrants and refugees, with school-based mental health programs and at a group therapy practice.

If you’re curious about working together, please get in touch. I look forward to connecting with you!
